Best Paper Award
The call for the MCBD Best Paper Award 2024 is open – apply now!
We are looking for the best paper published by our PhD students in 2023 in the field of molecular & cellular biology of diseases.
If you are PhD student and if you published your most exciting results in 2023 as a first author (or shared author), apply for the MCBO award to win € 1500 travel money.
In case of shared first authorship, the following three rules apply:
1. If you are the only PhD-student among the shared first authors, you are eligible for a solo application.
2. If there are several PhD students among the shared first authors, you are eligible for a team application and share the award.
3. If there are several PhD students among the shared first authors, you are eligible for a solo application only if all other shared first authors waive their claim for the award.
Please state this accordingly in the application form.
The deadline for application is March 1st, 2024.
At our annual Life Science PhD Symposium we will announce the winner of the MCBD Best Paper Award 2024.
Eligibility: Doctoral students enrolled at one of the MUI PhD programs with a major publication in the field of molecular & cellular biology of diseases, up to one year after graduation.
Criteria: excellent and exciting publication of a scientific discovery as 1st author.
Award: travel award of 1.500 €
